Saturday Night

Sometimes you inhale, and just smell loser.

i leave you these love notes
in places you might look

fragile paper words
creased with shame
and folded
with affection
my mouth tears open
and all these words
and fall onto the page
tenderly sleeping on line
after pale blue line

i leave you these love notes
and you erase my name

Starship crash, starship crash...

When people close to me treat me like crap and we become estranged, I always go a long time without hearing from them, and then am suddenly faced with their very public success. It never fails. Either karma never works out for me, or I'm am --><--this close to being hit by a bus every day.

I have to go throw up now.

I'm so excited!

Caffeine, as processed by the body, is identical to the old school asthma medicine, theophylline. So perhaps drinking an obscene volume of hot chocolate will help keep my bronchi dilated and oh so relaxed! But if I'm gonna use, I better use responsibly.

Jason's Kitchen

i sit on your countertop
and my thighs puddle
thankful for tight jeans
while we talk to the furniture
about regionalism
and finance
i turn your faucet on and off
and wipe my hands on my pants
all that water wasted.

Practice makes less sucky.

I'm trying to make myself practice more with photoshop and illustrator. I'd like to be able to make a decent piece for our final, which is supposed to be inspired by Dan Eldon. Unfortunately I'm doing all my practice on outdated software. I was planning on buying CS3 with my financial aid. Instead, I had to use almost all of it to buy a month worth (single diskus) of Advair today. $275. But when you're choosing between breathing and, well, anything, it's pretty guaranteed you'll go with breathing.

We have to work on a portrait using a photo our teacher took of us today, so I started messing around this evening. I'm not under any delusion that these are good, but I'm learning a little bit more with each one.

I have no idea why we aren't using wacom tablets in class. They are right there under our monitors, and I don't think we are going to use them even once. Total sheistage.
If I can ever by the new software I will definitely be investing in a wacom tablet. Using the little fingerpad on my powerbook is very frustrating.

Today I really missed my parrot, Chicharo, and made this homage to her little winged spirit, where ever it may be.

I am a lousy pirate these days. I am completely without accessory!

It's true.

Seventeen. No joke.
